Redfish Lake Trip

Brinley was a little afraid of the water, but she loved playing in the sand!

Taiylor and Cameron played a lot in the water and the sand. They acutally got along for a whole 4 days!!!

Cameron thought dad's snorkeling gear was pretty awesome. He can be such a goof!

Cameron, Travis, & cousin Devri riding the tubes. Cameron was little nervous, but afterwards he wanted to go again. Glad they didn't fall off.

Taiylor's 1st time skiing. I had to give her 5 bucks! Thanks Devri for standing in the cold water to help me little girl. Your mom did the same for me! We love you!!

And she is up and going...She told me when we turned the boat to come back her face wasn't really happy because it was scary! So proud of her. Try again next year.

Taiylor feeding the chipmunks at the campground. Brinley tried to mimic the noise and loved to chase them.

Cameron's turn to feed the chipmunks.

End of Redfish Lake.

On our way home, after 4 days...they all crashed within the first 15 min.

Redfish lake has been our annual tradition with the Burtenshaw family for 32 yrs. I have been going since I was a baby. It is so beautiful despite the glacier water. My kids had a blast and it was Brinley's first time camping. She was a trooper but into everything. Travis & I ran the whole time trying to keep her out of things or out of trouble. It was fun to get away, but glad to come home to our warm beds and warm shower! Thanks Grandpa Burtenshaw for starting a great family tradition.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMERON

My little boy is "5" yrs old. He wanted a skateboard cake.

If you look closely there is a blue water ball from Brinley then a big fat hug for her brother!

Taiylor was excited to give him his first transformer

That afternoon was spent with some of his friends for a water party. He loves to play with the neighborhood boys. He says they are his buddies.

We had 2 parties for him (family and friends). Cameron reading his duck card from Grandpa and Grandma Bybee.

Grandma and Grandpa Horne. Capture moments!

Grandma and Grandpa Bybee. Yet another moment...

Cameron's favorite gift. Spongebob skatboard from Grandma and Grandpa Horne. The only rule from Grandparents was parents had to buy all the gear and we did. He rode it all night and already has figured out how to turn in a circle. Dad pulled him behind on the 4 wheeler so he could get a feel of how to balance. He is also excited to go to the Chuckers game from Grandma and Grandpa Bybee. Now if it were only time for duck hunting my son would be in Heaven. We love our little Cameron. He can be a spitfire, but has the softest, sweetest personality ever. Not to mention that he can be hilarious. Happy Birthday Son!

Play Time

Rexburg Splash Park. Ward play day and a Sister day for me!

Brinley's first carousel ride. She loved the horses & kept bopping her head to the music!

Ride pony ride. Aren't they cute. Their cousins were on the horses next to them.

Cameron and one of his buddies Bryce.

What a good big sister.

Brinley was a little nervous at first, but felt more comfortable if her brother and sister were by her side.
We had quite the week last week. Splash park on Wed then took the kids to Jackson to swim on Friday. Unfortunately that trip wasn't the best. Brinley got car sick & threw up all over the car and me. We had to ride home for 2 hours smelling vomit. Lucky us. When we got to the pool a little kid had an accident and they closed the kiddie pool which is why we took the 2 hour drive. The kids still said they had fun in the big pool and Taiylor said it was worth our time. Thanks kids. We love you.

Happy Birthday Travis

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS. The clock continues to click and for that we are grateful. It was nice to have family over to celebrate his day. For his birthday Travis got a new grill that does gas and charcoal and he is turning out to be quite the Bobby Flay. He got it at the beginning of the summer so no pictures in his BBQ suit, yet.

Yes, this is Travis holding a PINK cake for his Birthday. He picked it out & thought Taiylor would think it was funny. He said it's all about the flavor not the color!

Some of the family watching Brinley entertain everybody.

Love this picture. Brinley was pretending to laugh like her dad while watching "America's Funniest Home Videos."

Taiylor and Cameron wrapped their own presents to give to their dad. I thought the purple paper went exceptionally well with the PINK cake.

FUN DAY WITH THE KIDS

Free kids fishing day at Lone Pine. I am quite the fisherman ya know...

Sisterly love. Aren't they cute?

I think they caught a smile.

Taiylor's first time fishing.

Cameron hiding in a bunch of weeds. He said mom, look I am duck hunting. He is quite the kid. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We had a lot of fun with the kids yest; although we never caught a fish. It is just fun to get out as a family and step away from a regular day & build more memories. Brinley was a trooper out in the sun and kept on saying, "fish." I am so grateful for my family and love the days we spend having fun together. Sometimes it is hard to put all the other work to the side, but well worth it.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

His Candy bar card. Dear Dad, You bring us "JOY." You are a "LIFESAVER." You are "EXTRA" special. You make us "SNICKER." You are worth "100 Grand." Thank you for all your "PAY DAYS." Happy Father's Day.

What Father's do best!! Sleep with a remote control.

Dad's other job...playing with the kids. Love Idaho wind.

Dad helping to teach Taiylor when she was learning to ride her bike.

Cameron's favorite time. He talks about it all year. "Is it time to go duck hunting yet, dad?"

Love those precious moments.
Happy Father's Day to my husband, my dad, and father-in-law. I am so grateful for all his help and the love he shows our children. He is a great man and helps to hold our family together. Thank you Travis, for all that you do. We love you. Thank you also to a great Dad and father-in-law that I have been blessed to have in my life. I have learned so much from the both of them. Thank you dad, for all the memories I carry with me from growing up. I love you both.

Cameron's Father Son Grandpa Outing & T-ball Games

Hanging with Grandpa Bybee and the telescope. That Dr. Pepper better not be my son's!
Father and son. Isn't it so sweet. The fishing pole is bigger than him.

Cameron's first fish. He caught it all by himself with Dad by his side. It was brought home frozen in a bag and he wanted me to cook it right away. (I think that should be a Dad's job too!)
They had so much fun, even though they both found ticks on them. They went with Grandpa Bybee in his trailer and Cameron was so excited to be with the boys. When he got back he kept calling his dad best buddy. That afternoon at home after camping he got in trouble and Travis snapped at him. Cameron with his big eyes looked up at Travis and said, "Were best buddies, you can't get mad at me." Through out the day when he would do anything he would say, "I thought we were best buddies." Glad they were safe and made some great memories!
FIRST YEAR T-BALL & TRAVIS IS THE COACH

Doesn't he look so enthused.

Like Father like Son.

Swing batter Swing...
Cameron started T-ball the first part of June and he was excited. The first game he was bent down, glove up the whole time waiting for the ball. Second game he started picking grass in the field. He says he gets tired of running all the bases. My favorite is when I shout out and tell him good job and he gives me a thumbs up. I think Travis is having just as much fun with his son, like I did with Taiylor coaching basketball. Unfortunately we have been rained out of 2 of our games and the other ones have been after a rainstorm. Couple more games and hopefully we will have some sunshine.

Happy Birthday Taiylor

MAKE A WISH. . .

Nothing like good memories with your daughter

Our flower cupcake cones. SAY CHEESE. . .

Everybody loves PRESENT time!

Game time...Who's the Leader

Taiylor's friends & she wanted more to come.

Her new Hannah Montana Bike
I can't believe my little girl is 7. How fast time flies, next year the big "8". It makes me feel old. We had 7 little girls over at our house for a flower power birthday party. We did face painting with flowers, had flower peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, drank from a flower pot, and had cute flower cupcakes in a ice cream cone. The girls even had flower bracelets. I think the girls had fun, wether they caught onto the flower theme ...Who Knows? With 8 girls things can get a little crazy, so a big thanks to my friend Natalie for her help at the party and to mom for watching Brinley, and my other friend Jaime for taking Cameron so he didn't torment the girls. One thing that hasn't changed with Taiylor for 7 years is her desire to have friends. We love our little girl and look forward to what lies ahead. We are thankful to have her part of our little family!! Love you Taiylor
