Time Out For Women

Well, I finally found time out for another year of Time Out For Women with a few friends of mine this weekend. We all forgot our camera's or I would have posted a picture with Hilary Weeks. We took off to Pocatello Friday for the performance Friday night and stayed overnight at a hotel then went back for the presentation on Sat. I was a little concerned leaving everything else that needed to be done at home, but so grateful that I was able to go despite the fact that it was freezing in the building. They had some good speakers and amazing uplifting music by Hilary Week, Jenny Jordan Frogley, and Abe Mills from Jericho Road. During one of the speakers who was talking about finding humor in dealing with life, I got a text from my husband saying that the hail and rain had ripped apart our new swing set he had put together for the kids just 2 wks ago. I was devestated and really did try to find a way to find humor in the situation.
I had a lot of fun with my friends engaging in laughter, relaxation, and some tears. I was once again reminded how much I love good wholesome music. It truly can change the way I feel and think. I also learned that as women in the gospel and women in general we often carry similar burdens; however, I also learned that among those burderns, life is good and we never have to carry things alone. I am grateful for the time I was able to get away and thankful for a good husband who with out any grumbling took care of our kids overnight, even folded some laundry, and I had a clean sink.

Cameron's Preschool Graduation

Cameron and his teacher Mrs. Merrill

Cameron saying his Little Boy Blue Nursery Rhythme

Yeah...He did it!!

Well I can't believe my little boy will be heading to kindergarten next year. He will be a young one, but he has grown so much. His graduation was cute and he was a lot of fun to watch sing all of his songs and go over his ABC's. Everybody stood up and introduced themseleves then said what they would be. He said, "I am Cameron Bybee and when I grow up I want to be a firefighter." It was said so cute and unfortunatley I couldn't get it to download to my computer to share it with you (maybe later to come.) We are so proud of you Cameron. Isn't he so handsome!
